I support innovation & investments to ensure that economies can grow in a way that improves the health and wellbeing of their populations.
I do this through applied research that bridges the evidence and implementation gap and creates system-spanning solutions. At the University of Cambridge, my work focuses on researching how rapidly urbanising contexts in African and Caribbean countries are changing and to identify leverage points to shape their urbanisation in a way that creates improved health outcomes. Via my consulting practice, ERIM Consulting, I serve as a technical partner for a wide range of public, private and international organisations on designing for health. Finally, I lead Engage Africa Foundation, a pan-African network focused on promoting integrating health into development to reduce non-communicable diseases in African countries.
